it all seems so random….my posts so far, but they are my way of preparing for my vacation…my trip. some friends and I are doing the Helsinki – Tallinn – Saint Petersburg – Helsinki trip. I have been waiting for SP for quite some years now and I am really getting excited. part of my anticipation includes exploring memories from the same time frame, trips I have made: a nephew’s graduation, a trip to Romania to celebrate a sister’s 50th birthday!
with 7 days to go, I am already getting packing piles set out which is way out of character for me. family members have already started coming home for my father’s 90th birthday party, which is scheduled for next Saturday. so lots of visiting and lots of birthday party preparation before I can get down to the bagging and tagging for the trip. and since there is so little time for all of that, I wont mention how much work there is to get done at the office before I can even start the visiting, celebrating and finally the traveling.
