Paris: Montmartre; just across the street from Sacre Coeur

ImageIn May of 2001, my niece graduated from high school and her pick for our trip was Paris.  My sister, her mother, found us this great apartment in Montmartre to rent for two weeks on the corner of Rue Charles Nodier and  Rue Ronsard.  It was magical, across the street from the park just below Sacre Coeur, three huge bedrooms with french doors and balconies, a corner flat right at the corner where the stairs go up to the Sacre  Coeur on the west side.  This building and the flat with the geraniums were directly across the other street.  i would watch this woman water her geraniums every morning.
