Every time I see English letters and words on a business in Bulgaria, it depresses me – even when it is, as is often the case, a Bulgarian-owned and managed business. But this? Texas Chicken? Just what Bulgaria needs, another chain of American fast “food” when there is plenty of far healthier Bulgarian food to be found quickly and inexpensively on the very same street. So now площад Славейков has McDonald’s, KFC, and Texas Chicken with Pizza Hut and Dunkin’ Donuts not far away. One can only hope Bulgarians won’t patronize these places, but I’m sure the fast food marketers have done their homework and know that they will.

Actually Texas Chicken is not a US fast food chain! We don’t have this one in the US
