As soon as we alit in Helsinki‘s city center from the airport, I saw a “Roma” selling lilies of the valley. The image was so familiar of all my time in Bucharest. The gypsies will pick the free flowers that bloom in the forest or hills and bring them to the city to sell. Of course I bought a bunch and they filled my room with a lovely perfume for our entire stay in Helsinki. I greeted her in Romanian and she was very pleased. Stuck them on my little green suitcase that I picked up in Seoul for the tram ride to the Katajanokka Hotel on No. 4 Tram!
You’re the best. Doamne fereste !
